nah lmao y'all been saying this for like a year at this point
we're not really any closer
Uzi played 2 songs off the tape during a Warzone game on a livestream last night. We could barely hear them though.
First song was "Extra" prod. Bugz Ronin.
Second probably not be on the tape, he was filmed in the studio playing the beat last night
@ yazan_elfarra facetimed Uzi today and asked to put Party With The Demons on Pink Tape. Uzi said he was tryna be on some gangsta s*** so he don't know if it'll fit

Gangsta s***? Bro is very bizarre. Obviously we wont know til the project but it like he cant pick a direction and just execute like the old days (if this is gonna be way more rap focused). Maybe cause Demon High flopped? Who knows

"I tried going pop, I tried going superstar. It didn't work. I'm going back underground, back to my roots."

I mean I love hard rapping Uzi but his strength has always been his melodies and ability to structure catchy songs. Why Luv Is Rage is my favorite, it has everything I love about his music, every facet he's excelled in. If he's tryna rotate back that way I'm game, but I think the Future x Uzi joint showed primarily just rapping isnt engaging a lot of the audience

Bro just needs to stop this constant lane-switching and lock in and finalise this project
He has every card to play - Kesha mixing, Cannon exec, Maaly & Bugz producing, he’s tapped in with Carti, he’s reflected on his mistakes with EA, he has been engaging with the fans
A good body-of-work is a good body-of-work
The pressure gets to him so much these days, bE YoU Uzi bE yOU <3
That’s all we ever want
@LilBillVert How you been anyway bro? All good?

It's done based on what we've heard, and while there has been a lot of hard rap snippets, there's still melodic songs, so I wouldn't count that out. I don't doubt that it'll be good, but it's very clear that the toxic side of the fanbase has made Uzi doubt himself, or at the very least, want to challenge himself more.

I think by going "underground" he meant more Luv Is Rage 1 vibes, just doing what he wants and not catering to a specific sound. So I'm excited for that.

Shaping up for a February-March 2022 release
I just hope he doesn’t rework it significantly between then and now
I just want him to commit at this point, I know he’s got it

He's got a track list ready at least, cause on the call with that kid he said if he really wanted PTWD on the tape he'd have to "fuck with it (the song) tonight"
