I think it was internal issues, Uzi made some comments about Dramas wife but I’m assuming (as it was from his LIR days) they put the breaks on him just releasing music in general and he grew frustrated that he couldn’t just do what he wanted and wanted different management to try and deal with it

Cannon also said on live he just sent 220 beats to Uzi for the album

Yeah I’m hoping for a summer/early fall release, may drop when kids are headed back to college (August/September).

Carti on his own schedule so I don’t think there will be big issues lining it up there especially now that they are on good terms. I don’t think Trav will release tho year cause the AstroWorld stuff is still fresh enough.

Regardless it’s gonna be out sometime this year, I hope it’s worth the hype!

I know we all have a tendency to complain about the wait times with Uzi projects

But LIR2 & EA did drop at legendary times, LIR2 dropped at peak-hype and EA dropped just as the world was changing dramatically and he ruled the internet for that 2-week period

I do think he’s super mindful of having his moment when he drops these days (due to his own insecure but it’s whatever) so when it comes I know it’ll come at the right point but yeah mid-summer would be goated Uzi’s music has always had that inherent summer-feel to it. Having said that I’m so happy to see Cannon’s involvement this time round, once he feels happy Uzi has another classic on his hands we’ll get it … multiple heads are often better than one

But man, I really think Trav is still pushing to drop this year, his PR team been going overtime to try and move past AstroFest (as morally dubious as that is)
