There were some slappers in that big leak recently but i think my Uzi days might really be over

At this point i just don’t think he’s gonna drop something we didn’t hear him do before and better years ago

Yeah it just might be a combination of were getting old + the sound isn’t anything new and exciting and has been oversaturated for years now

But at the same time idk theres still contemporary sounding rappers that still hit the same for me compared to some years ago like Chief Keef & RX Papi for example so idk why it wouldnt be the same for Uzi’s new music unless its really just him being mid compared to his earlier streak

I think it's just that Uzi been in the game for a decade and these songs are simple, standard, nothing special. It doesn't hit like songs that came out 3, 5, etc years ago because the sound was fresh. The lack of progression makes it fall flat and feel uninteresting.

It's like how Meek music blended together into not hitting the same despite replicating a similar sound and formula. Granted Uzi tried different s*** and people s*** on it, but it feels like the artist equivalent of putting the training wheels back on.
