RIP_ActavisUzi has always been explicit about their inspirations, and Thug played a big part in helping introduce many to Uzi via SS2, plus they have a very close relationship
Even so I agree, i’m not exactly sure what their identity is in 2023. Although at least with Pink Tape era they had a clearly defined aesthetic with the spikey hair n s***
I don’t really care that much I just want new music, I don’t want to be waiting another 3+ years, no reason Uzi should be waiting that long between drops
Given up on the idea of them standing by their music too, Uzi hasn’t stood by an album since LIR2. They drop and then it’s on to the next thing, I think they are bored of it by the time it actually drops and are therefore always chasing the next sound
I feel like he just trying to appease the fans a lot. Uzi is way more insecure about what they think ever since Eternal Atake. After the lukewarm response and drop in sales for Pink Tape, now he's calling it an "experimental mixtape" and hyping up another project. Bro has no confidence in himself anymore and has no identity. This reflects in his music which has no direction at all these days
