Aye is boring
he 1/3 the intro was cool
the first listen at the gym this morning bouta go crazyyyyyyyy
Great intro for the gym
What do you think about the album bro
Hard to gather my thoughts so soon considering itās so long & so versatile
I love how experimental and straight-up weird it is
My main issue is all the interpolations of other stuff, feels a bit artistically redundant when Uzi is so creative. Like the CS sounds good but I wouldāve traded it for something else
I think on the whole he probably isnāt as catchy as he used to be any more, I donāt really see a hit off this but then again he doesnāt need another after JWR
Some amazing moments though, feels like such a blockbuster experience - Suicide Doors is peak rockstar Uzi, Patience is peak melodic Uzi, Nakamura is bonkers, Pluto to Mars & Momma still are great and lived up to weighty snippet expectations
Whole album just feels super him which is nice, but his rapping isnāt as good on this as it was on EA since heās exploring other sounds.
I donāt want to compare it yet to the rest of his discography, hasnāt even been 24 hours. I think itās what was needed though, refreshing for a mainstream release to be this psyched out & weird, can always count on Uzi for that.
It just goes to show though that he could drop so much more regularly, surprised Ridiculous made it to the final tracklist, hearing it in 2023 feels pretty underwhelming. Iām probably cutting ties with stanning him now because iām getting a bit too old, but I hope this newfound energy encourages him to just start giving us more projects because I really believe you could go into his vault any given day and make a good-to-excellent rap project
How you feeling?
Ima actually dive in and listen soon but yeah bloated albums like this are doomed to have a couple of filler/lose ppls attentions. Thereās probably a 10/10 here and thatās what gets me tight about long albums.
thereās a couple but yeah
Then shouldnāt that be a testament to Uzi since he didnāt need the production to carry him on that album as opposed to this album. EA is so hard and perfect for the gym
It is, I like both albums but with this project the production matches his dynamism, a lot more multiphase instrumentals, interesting pockets etc imo
Just finished my first listen
Mannnnn where to start, this album clears EA by so much itās not even fair to compare
I enjoyed like 95% of the tracks, so many different sounds Uzi rly did his thing on this
My biggest gripe (and I said this might happen earlier) is that this doesnāt rly feel like an album but like a leaked.cx comp, skits or interludes would have made the album even longer so I get why thereās none but he could have removed some of the less memorable songs
Reminds me of the LIR2 tracklist which was just all over the place except for some of the last tracks
Overall I really think this will end up as Uziās best project, canāt say it is right now just because of my heavy LIR2 nostalgia but weāll see
the first listen at the gym this morning bouta go crazyyyyyyyy
in the gym right now suicide doors is going f***ing crazy i might max out in this hoe
@RIP_Actavis
Yeah I feel you about it being all over the place, I anticipated that when we found out it was going to be so long
It doesnāt clear EA for me, too early to tell, I love EA and weāve had it for 3 years. Weāve had this less than a day. So only time will tell
In my opinion ALL of Uziās stuff is ageing nicely, so excited to see how this matures
album f***ed up my a****** my farts are originating from my stomach right now rumbling down to the most rancid farts imaginable loud and smelly
Soooo...AOTY?

For me the disappointment with EA still hurts to this day so this was way better
EA was too safe for me, some songs even start blending together turning into 1 big okay-ish song
