way too insistent on trying to please every sort of fan , somebody needs to let him know he did a great job here lol
So what's KTT's consensus on this one? I like it, definitely overlong but there's quite a few songs I keep coming back to. It definitely feels real and inspired IMO.
I thought the reception was pretty good overall until I went into that newer thread
The funniest thing about this album is how people have been comparing the heavier songs to something that belongs in something from like 10+ years ago (Shadow the Hedgehog, WWE 2K17, Transformers, etc.) - which just shows how long it’s been since they’ve exposed themselves to a genre other than the 1-2 they listen to ☠️💀☠️
saw this 😭 dont know what it is tbh

What's going on in the other thread?
album is good. I see why people are disappointed though. people want classics from them. future looks bright though
I'm pretty sure it's guaranteed a #1 spot at this point
By the end of Sunday, it was at like 120k+
uzi saves hiphop !
AND THIS DARKNESS HAS BECOME MY HAVEN
IM GOING DEEPER UNDERGROUND
her background vocals on both are godtier
her contributions are some of my favourite things about the entire album, i feel like its just a bit underappreciated and maybe went under the radar since she isn’t credited as a feature
She the new starrah
The teasing of a new album after this got a mixed reception is another example of Uzi not backing himself and it’s hard to watch
Let your work stand for itself it doesn’t need extra prompting or distractions like this
i’m very in for LIR3, but he could have teased it without talking down on himself. it’s crazy how insecure he has become of his music ever since EA. really, really sad. i hope he gets over it soon and continues to not give a f***, because even if he acts like it now, he certainly does give one
