this is much more understandable than the way you previously explained it or by calling yourself a certified hater, which this doesn't seem to be at all tbh

i felt the same way about it except i was fine with putting it on in the background(and foreground at times) and enjoying it even if I don't think it hit the highs of his previous music, and wasn't more than the sum of its parts. There were however a lot of melodic songs on there which are not my type of uzi songs at all and I'm surprised you didn't like those (like the keef produced track for example). Idk if u were just being reductive to get the take off or not but figured the stuff in the middle and back half of the album would be your type based on this comment.

do you think this problem plagues a lot of rappers, and consequently their albums? cus its something thats been on my mind the past few years

Uzi could have dropped the very best song off ea and made it into a cool single like new patek. I feel like instead of doing that he brought down the value of the better songs because he dropped like 20 of them. I distinctly remember listening to ea around its release and being frustrated that even though lo mein had him rapping his ass off it barely stands out because that was the whole concept of most songs. I would say you could have taken like 3 songs off the album and made them a cool string of non album related singles and put more love into eternal atake because I was really excited for that album and was very let down
