I thought lollipop came first around this exact time and this came months after.

I could have sworn the same thing, so I did some research.

A Milli started popping up mid March 2018.

It's first appearance (tagged 2 min snippet with Cory Gunz) was on DJ Haze, Nu Jerzey Devil & DJ Capcom - Street Resurrection 4, which released March 17, 2008 according to mixtapetorrents.com upload date. Uploaded to Datpiff a couple days later
    mixtapetorrent.com/street-resurrection-4
    datpiff.com/Dj-Haze-Street-Resurection-Pt-4-mixtape.12833.html

Then the blogs had the NO DJ version snippet on March 18th.
    web.archive.org/web/20080325051348/http://nahright.com/news/2008/03/18/lil-wayne-ft-cory-gunz-a-milli-preview
    web.archive.org/web/20080325005529/http://content.onsmash.com/misc/357

Then Clean and Dirty NODJ version, Wayne only, dropped March 27th
    web.archive.org/web/20081201132803/http://dajaz1.com/2008/03/finally-milli-no-dj.html

    web.archive.org/web/20080331122936/http://content.onsmash.com/music/406

And then on March 31st, blogs started posting NO DJ version of the Cory Gunz version, but a comment on 2dopeboyz.com claims its a blend by DJ Emi.

Someone edited the Wiki page in the early hours of March 16th claiming it leaked on the 15th, but I can't find any proof of that. I think it was just a troll capping
    en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=A_Milli&diff=198526783&oldid=198422890

You can see people discussing the leak occurring March 17 on the wikipedia talk page for the song (from the mixtape I previously mentioned)
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:A_Milli

Here's a Wiki edit claiming the 17th, which lines up with my research.
    en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=A_Milli&diff=198985015&oldid=198962808

Some user named 1Sire edited the wiki page on November 11, 2013, and falsely stated, with no cited sources that the leak occurred on February 13th, 2008. en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=A_Milli&diff=581111950&oldid=573044113

And since then, it's sort of been accepted as fact that the song leaked on Feb 13th, which is incorrect. Here's a Billboard.com article from Feb 13th 2018 talking about 10 year anniversary
