Not surprised. Wayne always showed love to Dipset, even down to the swag.
Too bad that collab album with Juelz never happened.

Soon
lol
Surprised he didn’t put Em, since he’s always bigging him up.
He also left Pac out. And Nas.

Weirdly enough the C2 liner notes say literally every song was recorded in New Orleans before Katrina, then finished in Miami afterwards. Even though Juelz had his own Santanas World studio at the time and stuff
So he was literally just hanging out and living at Cam's and s*** in between to soak up the swag to take back to New Orleans I guess lol

Wait. So he didn't record C2 in harlem at all? Lol He was just chilling with them? Wayne's a fool
That said, NORE
Nas also. I Cringe everytime I hear a rapper say this tbh.
Like wow you are so special and so much above the rap game...
I heard kendrick say it but more in a
"I can't listen to rap cuz I rap all the time manner" he wasn't being "over it"
Tbh I feel like most artists don't really listen to their peers as much as we do cuz they're around that music all the time
Imagine being in a class and focusing on everyone else's project, it has to be tiring especially for rap where the competition is high and you're around the rap music conversation alot
I don't think they feel superior to the rap game (at least in kendrick's case)
Keep in mind that most people tend to cling on to their personal classics

Not a problem with not listening to hip hop but pointing it out... It is like the people saying they only listen to 80s music
Lil Wayne’s top 5 not yours. Nobody gives a f*** about your top 5
No need to go awf like that

The only time I disagreed with someone's favorite mcs list is when eminem put Joyner Lucas in his
It was so random too
"Redman, crooked I, royce, Tupac, Joyner Lucas , jcole ...."
Joyner?!?
Talk about not joining the internet hive mind lol
He really tried to sneak him in there

he did say he was in Harlem on Get At These Niggaz w Juelz, but that sounds like an early-mid 2006 joint to me. Maybe he actually properly locked into Harlem in Summer 2006. Summer 05 he was just chilling at Cams house and mobbing in the streets but not locking into C2 he'd rather bang it out in New Orleans shortly after even tho he lived in Miami, which is a bit weird lol. Or maybe they meant to say Cash Money Studios Miami not NO in the liner notes. Currensy said the other day he was in NYC buying Chrome Hearts in 06, so maybe he got posted up around that time
1 things for sure 2 things for certain, Wayne loves NY
