    If i can rap other people's whole discographies from memory then surely platinum rappers who don't have to cook, clean, plan their days, etc etc should be able to remember their own lyrics

    that’s cuz ur listening ur singing their RELEASED material that you like lol not from a roledex of thousands of songs, and rappers are still very very busy people lol even tho the job is great unless ur alr a superstar ur still doing most of this or all of it

    Orchestras use sheet music, live bands use cue points in their IEMs, teleprompters for lyrics aren't bad. They're useful in making sure you don't accidentally skip ahead in songs, and can help you stay on track if you have any monitor issues

    I mean using a prompter doesn’t mean they’re reading most of the lyrics from it (could be wrong tho LOL), just nice to have it as a backup in some case no?
