i remember on ktt1 there used to be this campaign to rehabilitate wayne as a GOAT which was well deserved but his fans were sooooo annoying about it and they would post threads after threads with his best songs and s*** and they would always use the "this is just a nightmare so i blink twice" line as his best line ever to prove he was a great writer and like fire line but why this one in particular

im glad it came back around because i even fell for the anti wayne propaganda in the i am not a human being era

i don't even think wayne knew because he dropped like 4 fire projects in like 18 months. he was going in over every hot beat at the time and towards the end of that run we got songs like this and i feel like dying and la la la where he's talking real stuff over samples then lollipop drops as a single which is completely different than the songs i mentioned. idk if there even was a direction
