Yep. If an artists only makes for example 15 songs and they are automatically for the album thats not good lmao. I don't think anyone even does that so his criticism of Wayne is just hatin. Even his favs record more songs then they need.

I think the issue I have with Wayne and that process is that it’s not Wayne who selects and sequences the songs it’s Mack Maine, and that’s been a problem for pretty much every project the the latter part of his career

Nah I didn’t like c5, worst Carter hands down for me. I was just talking to goo and he made a good point, the single isn’t a “hit” and if it doesn’t chart well I hope that doesn’t mean pushbacks

Obviously 2 and 3 are the best 2 but C1 is a great project, far better than c5 and 4. C4 has aged well tbh that’s why I put 5 last. It’s not bad but it sounded dated from the drop for me tbh

Hard to explain but for me 5 just doesn’t sound like a Carter album. Maybe c1 for me is partially nostalgia since i bought it when it dropped and it was my first Wayne album. C5 is way to trap influenced for a Carter for me, I just personally don’t think it’s that enjoyable and it didn’t sound very innovative compared to the others when they dropped
