i dont think this album is bad by any means but a lot of yall reactions is giving i dont listen to anything but rap like deadass

As a person who has been craving something different, this was a nice surprise.

I’m not bringing down rap specifically. I even complimented Yachty for staying true to himself (which is as a rapper). But a lot of people in his lane are on autopilot and approaching a lot of their songs the same way and are afraid to mix up their sounds. It’s got nothing to do with rapping.

I would legitimately give the same criticism to the indie rock scene, but that didn’t feel relevant to the conversation.

I feel like most rappers are doing pretty good? I dont wanna hear lil baby over some s*** like this, i’d rather them just perfect their craft

You don’t get tired of rappers going over the same type of beats with the same song structures?

You know yachty dropped a classic if people are being this mad over the reception

I find Glitter's hook annoying. The lyrics and that effect on his voice The part towards the end with the laid back beat elevates the song for me

Pothole's beat is insane imo. How it comes in when he says "Snakes on the grass but I walk" And those synths are just perfect

Yeah, the part where he says something like “You can’t fool me, I know T been 4 for 4” is bricks.
My favorite part of Glitter is when that second verse kicks in and the beat suddenly gets lower tempo and more dreary, I think that’s the part you’re talking about too.

Yeah, that same part Tyler's little "ooh ahh"s in the back are amazing during that part, I'm a sucker for that kind of thing everytime Childish Gambino does something similar in the background while he's rapping on Pink Toes
