I think it would be good for her own public image to address it, but I disagree that the band as a whole has to address it. We have to stop putting these celebrities on a pedestal. You can enjoy the art without agreeing with the artist, the 2 aren’t mutually exclusive.
Having said that, I do understand that you personally knowing someone who was directly victimized would 1000% influence my own opinion on this as well.

I use “agree” as a blanket statement. Like I said, as an enjoyer of any media, you have to learn to separate the art from the artist. Danny Masterson deserves to rot, Emily is probably a terrible f***in person for who she chooses to surround herself with. But I can also listen/enjoy this album and when it comes out objectively while having that opinion on Emily.

I get it, but it’s not as black and white as people are making it out to be when the people that are damning listeners of Emily are the same ones who listen to artists like Young Thug.
