when you call these dudes in op blog rappers or blog artists, what do you mean by that? is it the musical style?
edit: or does it mean an artist that isnt trend following or hopping?
Jan 29, 2020·2 repliesthis term is so dumb dude. it just exposes that ur not really keeping up with what's going on rn. so many diverse and dope artists are bubbling in the underground and they are ten times more creative than most of these stale ass youtube recommendation core dudes (not saying all those guys are trash but most of them are boring to some degree). Detroit is blowing up rn and has a huge amount of talent, new york has got the sLums type vibes, griselda stuff, and drill all popping off rn. West coast and ATL also got their own scenes and everything. Not too mention more online focused scenes like drain gang and s***. Sure Jack Harlow got marketability and will probably see fairly big success soon but that type of stuff probably isn't gonna move the culture forward in a significant way or leave a lasting impact. im no big authority on this kind of stuff or anything but no one really wants to hear you keep pushing for "blog era 2.0" when it mostly seems like you just want to call something similar to that era cause you were in high school or whatever when it happened.
