    NAV HIVE PRESENTS:
KICK TO THE FACE WITH AN OFF WHITE JEANS, a track by track breakdown of NAVs new album Good Intentions
I listened to this in bed naked, wearing nothing but my girlfriends pink beats solo headphones

    Good Intentions-
Start it off good. Those first few notes come in and I’m in. Song is basically showcasing how Nav is very selfless, it’s endearing. Nice guy with good intentions.
If I c***inside she got a king inside her belly is a great line

    No Debate-
Not much I can really say, song is good. I’ll definitely keep it. First of 2 thug verses on here and, in my opinion, the better one. Really here for this thug verse.

    My Business-
I think we can all agree future stole the show here. Like for real, what was that? Haven’t heard a future verse like this in a LONG time. Amazing. Stand out nav lines: “im in the money making committee”, “after my show I got three hoes signed three letters on all they titties, getting these millions, tryna get a billion, I was born 1 day before diddy”. But seriously, peak future. We need this back

    Turks-
Nothing to say here. Automatic classic. May be the best “banger” of the year. Everyone did great. Video is baller

    Brown boy-
I’ll keep it short, I could make a whole thread on this song. King NAV speaking directly to you KTT haters. Probably the funniest song I’ve heard in a long time, I’m serious. Favourite song so far. Brown boy!

    Status-
Don’t really like this song. The worst of the Uzi x Nav collabs. Should’ve kept Leaders (SOTY).

    Codeine-
Second Wunna feature. Gunna is someone who I was late on and I’ll always be regretful of that. He’s so good, and this so is no exception. Voice of an angel. Nav second verse is sick

    Saint Laurenttt-
Trippy slowed down simp nav, this is what we’re here for. I guess you could consider this a love song. Bro said “your new mans dirty hands rubbing your feet.” Whole song is a smash.

    Coast to coast-
Pickin up the pace! Love the auto tune on this one. Beat is also amazing. One problem I’m noticing is he’s so good at writing these oddly worded amazing hooks that it kind of overshadows the verses. This is definitely a bit of a weakness.

    Run It Up-
First things first, RIP Pop Smoke. It really is a shame what happened. With that being said, song is fine, not my favourite. Probably won’t listen a lot.

    Spend It-
Thug take 2. This song has some good lines from Navraj but it’s another one I probably won’t go back to much. Not huge on thugs verse here, either.

    Recap-
Love this song! Is this what all don Toliver songs sound like? Absolutely love him on this. NAVs melody is great here. Don definitely stole the show here.

    She Hurtin-
Another love song with a nice simple beat. Nav is great at simp anthems. I think the guy really wants to find love, which I get. Don’t we all?

    Overdose-
This is my favourite type of Nav song. The kind where he shows how he’s human. He hits some very honest, vulnerable points here. Navs insecurity is his muse. God bless him. Definitely a highlight of the album for me.

    Did You Wrong-
Jumping into a more bouncy song with this one! More simping, a song to bob your head to. I can see this song getting a lot of love. Another example of Nav wearing his heart on his sleeve. The outro to this is also F***ING INSANE.

    My Space-
This beat is really cool. Song is pretty good. Highlight is when he says “murakami Louis bag with the cheeeerries”

    No Ice-
Nav and Durk, a surprisingly good duo. I enjoyed this one. Something about Nav saying “Don’t create no hierarchy, pull up with no ice” is really cool to me. More proof he’s just a nice guy with Good Intentions. Might think I’m sleeping on Durk a bit. Going to do a dive later.

    Proud Of Me?-
The closer. The name itself speaks volumes. All he wants is for people to be proud of him, to be well liked. Because of this, I think he’s the hungriest rapper in the game. He deserves to succeed. Great outro

All in all, the album met all my expectations. Another leap forward in Navs career. Some high highs for sure. Only problem Is I wish there were more insecure songs. That’s where he’s the best, imo. Good Habits, Bad Intentions. I’m

I'm no Nav fan but I do enjoy some of this stuff with Metro

    eg.

The beats hard and he flows nicely with some jokes lyrics

    S*** like
Did you see NAV? he just slapped that b**** right on the ass

    or whole verses

Saw NAV in the club, in the booth, sleeping off the xan
Just heard his new mixtape, thought that s*** was wack
But every time I got out, the DJ keep bringing it back
I tried to DM him and he ain't never hit me back
So I left a comment say you're ugly and your music trash
Is he really from the Rex?
Is he really from the trap?
Is he really living all the things that he say in his track
I just saw Nav, in a 'no smoking zone' rolling up dank
I just saw Nav and Bucks in the Ghost pouring up drank

That’s what I like about Nav is he has these weird f***ing nerdy bars that sound like they were written by an algorithm. That right there is a top 5 nav bar it gets me every time

He raps like an eighth grader speaks. Like he says things other people would think were badass. It’s endearing. He’s my favourite rapper right now based solely on the character I’ve created in my head on who I think Nav is

To imply I’m a troll is to imply I’ve ever in the history of my posting here been anything other honest, sincere, and transparent. You can call me anything you want but to call me a troll would make you a flat out liar

Agreed. I think it was really well structured in that sense the the first half was bangers and the second half was the insecure nav. Duality of man
