Definitely underappreciated. I love this album. I don’t think it’s perfect but it’s such a challenging album especially in that era. Quite a risk. So many great songs that show how uniquely and diversely talented he is. Also shoutout Dr. Know (Bad Brains) for being heavily involved on this project!

Zimzallabim, is such a gem to me for some reason.

Modern Marvel may be one of his greatest moments. Songs like “War” are crazy to me and so different than anything I had heard before listening this album. Definitely opened me up to finding more music.

Just say it like us all we want another Yasiin Bey Album.

Bought it the day it came out. Always loved this album. Highly underrated. Zimzallabim, The Rapeover, Sunshine, Modern Marvel and Champion Requiem are real special.

I’d take whatever Yasiin wanted to drop honestly. Still waiting on that Mannie Fresh produced album and the elaborate museum album sounded epic.
