Actually that was me. I was the one I suppose who “started the trend”.

I was never gonna gatekeep an idea. That’s dumb and I have no real control over what y’all post. I’m cool with other people making threads inspired by it and actually doing a deep dive.

I do NOT give a pass to goofy threads that mock the template or the artist. Those need to stop. I do NOT endorse these kinds of threads.

Agreed. Tbh done well it’s a great idea, yours and the E-40 thread got me checking albums I haven’t heard in years… and actually enjoying them far more than I remember. But some of them are just hypebeasts getting kicks from notifications, and like you said probably not even actually listening to the albums they’re reviewing

Honestly I don’t even care if the reviews aren’t written that well, I just want the intention of the thread to be the music and the listeners journey of the music. I don’t want to be some thread created to get hits or a quick buzz. If you were looking to do that, just create a cliché Drake thread and keep it moving.
