I used to think the sub-genre of hip hop used to be no good and overhyped by kids. When my son convinced me to listen to Lil Baby's single last week, I was blown away by how meaningful and soulful the song felt. It seems baby put his heart into spreading a message about the horrible situation here in America and I greatly appreciate it.
I'm an idiot for generalizing an entire sub-genre of music when it's meant to expand the sound and help the young folks get into hip-hop
Wow Greg, I’m glad that new song resonated with you. Don’t you see now? Mumble rap isn’t what you thought it was, a bunch of animals just making noises, it’s actually a legitimate sub-genre of music my white friend!

1. Baby isn't even mumble rap because he actually has bars and is saying stuff
2. F*** that s***.
Maybe I'm calling it mumble rap because my hearing has gone to s***, sorry I had an ear surgery few years ago to get them better. It's obvious you kids got better hearing than me lol
He don’t even mumble though lmao
Y’all think every black rapper from the south with the dreads is a mumble rapper.
