i cringe whenever people compare new ye albums to this. it's nowhere near it

Most people who hate or underrate this album are newer Ye fans, and/or do it because Kanye kinda downplayed this album in an interview once.

You’re talking about modern ye apologists who would (and literally did) praise the man as a genius for s***ting on a mic.

Also, fans may know about ye claiming Dark Fantasy was just “giving the fans what they wanted” so he could go on to do whatever he wanted. This is demonstrably false. He clearly could not produce another album on that level if he tried. His musical talent, skills and creativity have clearly degraded over the years. If you look back at his output from the beginning of his career and how prolific yet quality most of the music used to be, it’s obvious.
