Update:

I didn't know what to expect out of this other than the songs I already knew, so I was going in with the most open of minds you could think of. However, I had to come to the quick realization there is a lot there that'd shrink my perception of open mindedness. The bad songs, especially at the early stages, are really really bad. Like unlistenably bad. You dont blame that on any type of inability or deficit in Nickis performance at all though, just what seems to be bad decision making in production and direction.

Nickis abilities are for sure on clear display throughout her whole discog. Every album got at least a handful of songs that I'll keep in rotation. There is a steep incline in quality as her studio albums progress in both, the more poppy sounds and the more rap-ish joints. I actually think a lot of the Pinkprint pop songs are clean as hell and Nickis singing performances are extremely on point - her voice is beautiful imo. I Lied and Come See About me are straight bops. Pills n Potions might be my favorite song of hers.

The songs she be rapping on, she be rapping. Some of the flows she got are legitimately top-notch. S***s dead flawless in term of technique and theres nobody soundin like her when shes on her job,

Nickis got a bunch of bad songs so I wouldnt say she has one album that is top to bottom classic. Pinkprint is the closest and Queen is relatively cohesive and consistent as well but I believe she still got potential to surpass that. Either way she has laid out a super respectable resume with hickups you ought to get when you're actively shooting for a broad pop lane like they did with Nicki. But she is for sure a legend in this genre.

You have to respect her willingness to experiment, explore a bunch of different sounds, being one of if not thee dopest female rapper ever, and just being responsible for bunch of good ass music. I put big respect on Nicki name and definitely got at least an hour worth of tracks Imma go back to.
