you sound f***ing miserable op just listen to what music you think sounds good an call it a day
Literally disagree with OP’s takes to the fullest (especially about Arctic Monkeys playing it safe... have you even listened to Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino? most left field thing they could’ve done ) but... with that being said...
DAMN y’all are some hating ass b****es ITT lmao it’s actually unbelievable how petty and rude all you are to OP for having some bad opinions
metal out now
For the past month I’ve been getting into obscure acts like:
Shoutout to KickPush from KTT1 btw for putting me on these acts
Okay back to my point, I realized these bands music is just more...exciting and interesting in general. They implement unorthodox song structures, chord progressions, and mixing in order to give the music more taste, not to mention they preserve the rawness and soul. With the mainstream band (Like Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, Tame Impala), they lack rawness and plays it safe all around musically. Sure we got other acts like The Voidz and The Strokes, but their music got ruined by s***ty mixing which bleedes my ears.
It’s beyond me why those obscure acts aren’t gaining greater recognition and even notable attention from music critics. Even f***ing Anthony Cucktano and B****fork won’t touch on them cuz we know they appeal to 12 year old white suburban kids and are biased in their reviews gassing up the same old acts.
Now I understand why dust heads have a gripe against mainstream music
All them witches is the best band currently out there. Their discography is on par with the greats. Have you heard the new single its f***ing nutss,,
I got an OG O Hum CD from 2005 i will post the booklet in it with the arts you might find it interesting
Song of the decade TBH, show me a more dynamic rock song than this in 2020...
Their next album gonna define the genre mark my words

All Them Witches music is something else compared to what I’m hearing from most of these bullshit “indie” rock lmao, you a real one for owning the O-hum CD btw, definitely in for the artwork

I wish more bands nowadays made their music more raw and dynamic, their s*** be sounding bland as hell
Isn’t Matthew Santos the dude that worked with Lupe a lot on F&L and The Cool?
Correct, but he makes great music I’ll tell you that
bro im going to put you on this obscure website that will get you away from this dumbed down mainstream s*** it's called reddit.com it's much more...exciting and interesting in general. they talk about unorthodox song structures, chord progressions, and mixing in order to give the music discussion more taste, not to mention they preserve the rawness and soul. With the mainstream forums (like KTT, KTT2, the coli) they lack rawness and play it safe all around discussion wise. Sure we got acts like DavidP and Doot Doot, but the discussion got ruined by s***ty posting which bleedes my eyes.
Matthew Santos
The Reign of Kindo
All Them Witches
I'm gonna have to check out O Hum just off the strength of those bands.
Check out their album Aloodeh, it’s pretty good

Btw were you kickpush from ktt?
The fact op failed to mention the obscure legend really speaks volumes
He thought he was going deep with the Persia pull
“Obscure”
you sound f***ing miserable op just listen to what music you think sounds good an call it a day
Why cover old bands in a boring genre when you can cover new acts from a constantly exciting genre?
