i literally couldn't get enough of it for weeks when it dropped, i think it was brilliantly done.
but on a purely personal level it hasn't stuck with me so well..
i don't know how that disconnect happened
every time i go back to it i can recognize that it's dope but i skip/am tired of many parts of it lol. i only really play All Up in Your Mind and Break My Soul (but even Break My Soul hasn't been played all that much recently)
seeing that folk are enjoying parts of it is cool, there's a lot of good in there i think so i'm not surprised to see it catch on

It’s quite different for me, there are songs all over the tracklist that grew on me, Cozy and Energy were misses for me at first, the same with Move and Thique. I still prefer Honey to Pure and I’m kinda tired of BMS (the remix is just superior in every way) but overall it’s super consistent. It’s crazy she’s so far into her career and still seems to be at her peak.
Her best album, a masterclass in singing/production/album sequencing
I gotta disagree on the best album part, Self-Titled, 4 and I am Sasha Fierce had everyone in her grip
Nah 4real
this s*** make you wanna hit a party and catch a dance
Hit a party and catch a dance?
Fantastic album.
Need her to drop the next of this trilogy immediately
Beyonce doing country = album of the decade ngl
I wish I enjoyed it. But songs like Church Girl just don’t do it for me. I like a lot of the songs though

lol this is pretty neat we've had opposite experiences.
i haven't kept up with any remixes, at all, which remix are you referring to, lemme peep

And also the Cuff It Wetter Remix
for some reason i hated it when it first dropped... i don't know if it was "the hive" saying it was AOTD as soon as it dropped, or hearing some songs being played literally everywhere that made me kinda pissed at this thing, but now that the hype is over and you actually listen to it for what it is, it's a DAMN GOOD project
i'm still a sucker for self-titled and lemonade (basic, i know), but she really did something mixing her Houston influences with dance and electronic
it's a 8/10, super enjoyable
