when i say edm i really just mean electronic music and i usually always call it electronic music but i just said edm cause rockman said edm

to me it’s like when ppl get all bent up about not being able to differentiate between hip hop and rap.. to me those terms are interchangeable even if technically there is a difference

Thank you, I am happy to hear that it doesn’t sound like a rip off:)

I have given up on getting people to listen to my music, that ship sailed long ago.
But when I saw this thread I wanted to post because I have been wondering if the inspiration I have gotten from Fred was so much.

Also made a song very much inspired by “Pull Me Out Of This”, but that one went to far

wanna promote some new interesting s***, make a TikTok about it

I do think the influence seems pretty blatant when comparing them side by side but we also have to think that maybe Fred just seems like the pioneer of his specific sound bc he's more famous and well known. maybr this artist just never got their lucky break like Fred again. not everyone is blessed enough to get mentorship from Brian Eno as a teenager. other artists gotta get it out the mud fr.
