Mortal Kombat is a bit odd tone and colors wise. Like it doesn’t want to look like it comes from a video game fully . Without the 90s soul of the franchise instead focusing on the gore which worked but the goofy gore is what made people fall in love . Same issues as MK 1 game story a bit too
