dudes tried to rob a jewelry store, took UPS truck and kept the driver in it. Went on a chase, eventually got boxed in by traffic and they started a shoot out. Now we know both suspects died and the "hostage" along with someone else.

there was a robbery at a jewelry store and the suspects stole a nearby UPS truck and took the driver hostage to get away.

some time later the suspects started shooting out of the vehicle near city hall. not sure if they were shooting at cops or what but right after that what seemed to be dozens of cops started chasing them.

eventually they were cut off by traffic with nowhere to go. that's when the cops pulled up and there was a huge firefight between the cops and the suspects. apparently there were multiple fatalities including the two suspects and the abducted driver, and a random bystander. one of which died either in the hospital or on the way cause i saw one of em being loaded into an ambulance.
