The problem is institutions of companies and big groups push what gets into law. Politicians set even their genuine views aside under enough reassure of not getting elected.

You can't just put one black person or a handful in positions of influence and expect the system to be like " well gotta switch up".

When you're only 12% of the population and still generations fresh off of institutionalized disfranchisement you still have A LOT of work to do.

It will take decades for people who really represent you to infiltrate institutions of influence in government, business, and what not until your collective voice is heard from WITHIN those places themselves. External noise from even large numbers people won't change enough for you if you don't have real advocates from within in large numbers.

A black caucus in every city, few senators/reps, and some celebrities is not enough. You need the real drivers of policy in this country which lobby, big businesses.

Yes,I think real change within the black community is gonna be the exact opposite of what we’re seeing now. Real change is gonna be when we can negotiate for better living conditions in ghettos across the US with the government and have real leverage,have our own schools funded by black people across the US,chains of different stores involving groceries,dining etc strictly black owned where you can’t trace back ownership being a white guy,stuff like that.

It’s gonna take time tho and if we started this ideology today,we probably still wouldn’t see those type of results in our lifetime but we have to start somewhere. The bottom leads to the top,we need to realize that.
