MelThat's the thing though
The looting provides the possibility of that narrative by the people with bad intentions
It even makes discussing this s*** harder because people think you're the opposition if you're try hold people accountable who did do something wrong. It's why I was so disappointed in some people in here defending it or not seeing as dangerous as it is to the protests credibility.
I was against the looting and chaos too, but a lot of posters brought up some good points, we’ve been “peacefully” protesting for years and it’s never worked in our favor
Peaceful protests get swept under the rug, but this is getting some attention, unfortunately the press will try to spin it into negativity

I agree but like I said, go after the political buildings instead. People invested their lives into some of these businesses just to have it destroyed. The people that are destroying things like that aren't there for George Floyd, they're there to just f*** things up for fun. It was peaceful till about 10pm here.
