mm yea I think this might be wishful thinking on your part. the core issue that dragged Ferguson on, the miscarriage of justice isn’t even present in this scenario, at least not yet. If Chauvin gets exonerated that’ll be a different story but for now the main issue of police not facing accountability for their actions isn’t much of a factor.

tbh this isn’t even a presidential issue. Obama didn’t unite the country much better than Trump has. The same anger was brewing during his term. Trump or Biden can’t control every police officer’s actions anymore than Obama could. The only factor Trump has had in this was the “looters will be shot” tweet, but I don’t think that’s gonna be the difference-maker.

Of course most Americans aren’t particularly informed and think the president is directly responsible for everything that happens in America, so we’ll see what happens.
