Again, Trump’s lack of leadership, Biden’s mental handicap, the pandemic, economic crisis, and all these protests have opened the door for a third candidate to amplify themselves and gain some steam. Still none of those candidates have stepped up to do that.

i'm gonna be honest with you man. so many people are completely ignorant (purposefully or otherwise), or genuinely do not care about their fellow people (local, state, otherwise), that they don't care about anything other than their own complacency. police brutality does effect everyone, but they don't care, but they also especially don't care about it affecting black people. the same way they know things on the no-fly list effect everyone but especially affects arab people yet still don't give a s***. or the same way the patriot act allows spying on everyone yet they still don't give a s***. these things do effect everyone more than just the targeted groups who recieve the brunt of it but they don't care en-masse, and especially don't care about minor targeted groups within those wider sects.
the idea of cop brutality being okay is literally drilled into the complacency of the general public. have you ever seen a show like COPS, or Live PD? These are literally hugely popular programming which regular people watch and find entertainment. They literally will essentially gamify police officers abusing the rights of people into public entertainment. Poor people getting absolutely f***ed and it's turned into entertainment for people to laugh and gaff at rather than being acknowledged as an actual problem. People only bring it up as it applying to all races not to negate the idea of black people being brutalized, but instead to imply that it's not that black people aren't being brutalized, but rather everyone gets brutalized by the cops and therefore that brutalization is okay and normal. The real root of #AllLivesMatter has nothing to do with brutality, it moves the goalpost away from police brutality and says "actually brutality is normal, and we shouldn't focus on that and instead focus on x". It's about normalization more than it is deflection.
