I just don't buy that. Obviously I'm speculating but like:

-missile defenses are probably all aimed at the sky

-Probably proximity mines hidden all around the premises that are normally turned off. Switching them on is what'll probably get most of the people storming.

-a few snipers and security inside.

-Probably a bomb hidden in the White House for the worst possible scenario too.

Kind of feel like that's the bulk of it tho. The USA is two oceans away from most of the world, and there hasn't been any revolutions here, which makes me think the defenses are mostly designed to protect against planes and stuff.
