The Doja Cat thread last week got moved to misc and as a result there was hella threads jumping off, some legitimate but some just trolling.

I think a single thread makes it easier to spot and combat trolls and misinformation as well

If you do make a whole section what the other guy said would be good, make it a live thread, atleast at night when the riots start

Idk but if there was a whole section or whatever I could easily see some s*** like a "FREE YOUTUBE MATT" type of thread where people are just being disingenuous

i’m unsure on that. i’m open to testing it out but i just don’t want it to cripple discussion. if we’re gonna have an entire section for it we should make it a main focus on the front page just like music, tv/film, gaming, and sports and maybe remove the section whenever things go back to normal

it shouldn’t be discrete like how people join the politics or the relationship/advice sxn

I think there should be an option/function for moderators to add a second post to the thread (on page 1) and they can use that as a general message board for large threads like this

or like a sticky post / notice u see on the top of every page
