yeah or Corbyn in the UK. There was never a chance with how insane his policies were portrayed by the media and establishment and now Labour have gone back to a "safe" centre/centre-left (at a push) guy that wouldn't resolve those deep issues of inequality

Yes and no. Most of them do sign up for the benefits but they still have to complete basic training just like the rest.
