    who enforced militarization of police?

Trump rolled back Obama's police reforms 2017. Not saying there was necessarily an improvement in that regard by that point, but we shouldn't even have to amend this.

Idk enough about protest history, so I need some help.

What is the strategy of a peaceful protest? Like what is supposed to end up happening? I dont know if I worded this well, but I hope I get some good answers

Ideally a peaceful protest disturbs the flow of society so that people are forced to confront the message of the protest

Peaceful protests are still meant to be disruptive. Just non-violent.

How will it disturb anything if its peaceful?

I know it brings attention to the subject, but is it really changing anything if it is just peaceful?

It did seem to work pretty well for Gay rights though

    1. Protest peacefully but still create some inconvenience for the rest of the ppl

    2. Receive abuse or get shut down by the state (police)

    3. Document the treatment the protestors got and diffuse it to the rest of the population to create some indignation

    4. Use that outcry to make some changes

Peaceful protest only work if the people are willing to be a symbol and sacrifice themselves to show all the injustices they face to a worldwide audience.

End goal is to have people support the movement with overwhelming threat to politicians and businesses. Antiwar protests along with American soldiers dying in Nam was what made America take it's L and head back home. If politicians are at threat of losing office and businesses are gutted of paying power they have to bend to people's will to call for congress to pass reform

    What kind of inconvenience

Shutting down streets, barring the entrances of buildings, etc.
