the fact of the matter is if youre going to a***yze any of this and you ignore class, ignore history, ignore race, or ignore almost any other sociological factor then your a***ysis is incomplete. they all play a role. it's really not that hard to draw a link between the frequency, size, disposition etc., of these protests with the fact that 40 million people are currently unemployed, the degradation of american capitalism into an increasingly surveillant(?) police state, the neo fascist in the white house, the obvious racial factor etc.,

no one is reducing anything to one issue. it's ignorant to make that claim. the point about capitalism is simply the fact that it is the catalyst for all these conditions to exist.
