They're only doing this because it's socially acceptable an "in"
Makes them say "hey, I'm not racist!"
And it helps them to fit in with the trend

Look, if people knew they were listened to and someone would do something to protect them, I know they would peacefully express their feelings and things would change...
But that is not in our reality. These power hungry white folks are so good at putting up a facade that they care and will make changes. They will take meetings with different communities, simply for the photo op and headline.
Look into the slave revolts. Sometimes being heard isn't enough. Those people have to feel your hurt.

Everyone‘s white in that comment section of reddit. Just want to slap all of them. I bet they all look like the kids in the video too.
If those kids were really down with the Protest They won’t be setting up a game of beer pong. They would be outside.
Instead they’re filming while people are out risking their lives, and then think putting up their fit is going to help and then screaming “we’re on your side”
