WESLEYS THEORYPeople at this point I think just want a nice, likable guy. We're so sick of listening to a walking sack of s***, its just a breath of fresh air to hear a guy who doesn't have the speech patterns of a 7 year old.

beast444let's be honest. there's only so much a president can do in an 8 year term, especially if we talk about that 8 year term vs. a system that has been broken for over 400 years now. Obama really represent a leader and what leadership looks like moreos than the exact things he's done for the black community

I think its comforting to a lot of people to hear what a president should sound like. What leadership looks and sounds like. even for all his faults.
in terms of that sure, hes great. He always speaks really well.
but he was in a position for 8 years where he could have tried to invoke some real big changes to help deal with racism (and that could have been the best chance we had in a long long time), but he didnt do s*** to help with it

ElectricObama definitely still has power. Lots of pull in the democratic party and his voice holds a lot of weight with the Hilary Clinton type folk.
I guess it’s more appropriate to say, he has no direct power.
