i actually do agree that theoretically leaving policing up to localities rather than trying to enforce a federal standard would likely result in communities individually sorting out the best things themselves, i suppose the issue is like i said elsewhere post-industrialization has made it hard for the outcome over a 200 year period or something if we were to revert back to such not to end up in the same place we are now once that time passes
