Why do Americans count someone as having died from coronavirus if they didn’t die from coronavirus? Is that why the death toll is so high?

If Floyd tested positive for the virus on April 3rd, he would have recovered by may 3rd at the latest. So when this cop murdered him, he was probably in decent health but recovering. The death was nowhere near related to the virus. He was MURDERED.

All other countries don’t test people for the virus if they died from a car accident, cancer or suicide but America does and it’s weird.
