The looters will thin out a little bit because some of them will get tired, yes. You need a cause to keep you going and the protesters have that.

There will always be some destruction and looting though because the chaos is being organized in part by the opposition. They want the protesters to look like s***, that IS their cause.

There were tons of protesters that ran back after tear gas happened, but he didn't. Dude knelt there for like 10 mins before he stood up on his own and cleaned his eyes out. Idk I think that's pretty badass to not move considering how many canisters were firing everywhere. Moving on his own time rather than when he's told to.

To say that the military trains to better handle use of force and better handle stressful situations isn’t true.

The BIG difference here is that a cop is actually trained to deescalate (or at least they should be) whereas a soldier is literally trained from BCT to kill the enemy, not to de escalate anything. This is why a lot of veterans who become cops are MORE likely to shoot

Now when it comes to stuff like being in the ME where there are both enemies AND civilians that’s when Rules of Engagemrbt come into play. Let’s say a random guy is walking up to the base, there are gonna be signs WARNING dude, if he doesn’t, YELL, still coming? WARNING SHOT, and if all else fails you KILL.

That’s not the same as a cop who has to engage with people in close quarters and actually restrain them, not shoo them away.
