yeah not sure if it's worth the maga terrorism that would most likely follow

They would most definitely take it out on people that didn’t deserve

Racial s*** would be really f***ing bad like worse.

    Been saying this

These rubber bullets are literally just regular ass bullets coated in some rubber and they’re aiming for people’s faces

exactly, they're not even supposed to aim them at people. they're supposed to shoot them to the ground, thy bounce of the ground and get people to move.

Plus, rubber bullets are "less lethal" not "nonlethal"

I get where you’re coming from,

He does plenty of horrible things with his power that it seems a racist comment or dog whistle is just par for the course (u know... he golfs a LOT)

So much so, that it’s like: “can we focus on one issue at a time?” Cause it’s overwhelming

But just cause he’s f***ing over the environment and all of the middle class and lower, regardless of race, doesn’t cancel out or make his racism less important

These glaring problems are all coexisting at the same time. And are having different types of effects on the country and it’s people

All in all, he’s a pretty trash guy.

I also get where your coming from.

He’s using racism as the main culprit, therefore we would be outraged. Outrage is good but it’s such a raw emotion that it’s easier to lose focus. Or focus on the wrong thing. You said it’s overwhelming and I think that’s what Trump wants us to feel.

When we see Trump banners with white supremacist we automatically get triggered and call or think Trump is a racist, which he is. However, I think Trump is using them more than anything else. If we think outside the box a little bit more we can see what he’s really after. Which is fascist power and to maintain it. Trump doesn’t come off as a guy who attains power and wants to surrender it. White supremacist are pawns to his overall plan. I know it may seem like a reach but I truly believe that. The more I read up on the history of fascism the more believe that’s his end goal.

Racism is a huge problem but we shouldn’t focus only on Trump for that.
    Pretty trash guy for sure

In battle, the worst thing anyone can do is underestimate the opponent. He’s either really dumb or brilliant. I’m gonna assume the ladder because he managed to get to this point.

Especially after calling the republicans dumb back in ‘98. If he truly thought that back then (which I think he did) then he’s definitely up to something.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not surprised or shocked by any of his racist antics at this point, that's who he is. He's told the world who he is many times over through his actions and his words. I don't get why people put on this show of "Oh my god, did you hear what he said? It's just dreadful!" Like what, you been living under a rock all this time?

I'm more concerned when he ends up pushing forward harmful policies or saying things that enable white supremacists to go and enact violence on innocent people, or etc...

His racism can and does and will continue to embolden other racists in the country, and some of them (like the people who drive into crowds, and/or shoot at protesters) will go out and do harm to others

That's one part of the problem

Then, by upholding policies and institutions that facilitate systemic racism (disproportionate targeting of black people or latinx communities in the case of ICE and other orgs...), thats the institutional power of racism that he is upholding and is informed by his own carelessness, ignorance, elitism, and otherwise

They all blend together and most people only have the attention span to be mad about one thing at once before they give up

Like I can be mad about him cutting environmental regulations, giving tax breaks to the rich as his #1 priority, and being racist and upholding f***ed up policies and white supremacy all simultaneously, it just can definitely be overwhelming.

I just don’t think he’s smart enough to have an end goal.

I think he, and most likely the people that helped his campaign and that whole thing, are smart enough at least to manipulate his base and stir up these angry feelings enough for them to like him, and hate everyone else, and that's no small feat, albeit fascist and authoritarian, racist, and so on.

I agree with your points, but like I think we are both saying whether from our different perspectives... Trump is manipulating people.

If Trump does that to enable violence with white supremacist, he’s also putting a bigger target on his own back. At that point it’s a civil war.

What he’s doing I don’t think it’s out of ignorance, he wants to use that. The other nouns you mentioned I agree.

I think it’s a tactic he’s using. He’s trying to wear us down with so many different things. When in actually he’s just taking the mask off of issues that had an underlying presence.
