People have to realize that identity politics alone can't change a racist system, the reforms needed are so much deeper than switching out races of the elites. Turn on CNN any time and you will see black cops tacitly defend all the shootings, a lot of them from Georgia

Actually, you don't need reforms, but rather an entirely new policing model (which starts with education, community work and healthcare). The system has to go, not just its figureheads.

I think it simply comes down to the fact that shooting a fleeing suspect with a gun is not a correct use of deadly force

Yep on a federal level we had a Black President, Attorney General, and Secretary of State and still here we are. That is how the DNC got the black vote. They put black figures in high positions but nothing really changes. It’s way too late for the system to reform itself it will have to be rebuilt. To me, it starts with abolishing both political parties.

You notice how Trump always refers BLM to Democrats. All he’s doing is trying to make someone pick a side without anyone doing any critical thinking themselves. Or white supremacists siding with republicans, mainly just because and no real reason besides Trump pandering to them. These political parties are doing nothing but further divide the country even more.
