rereading The Autobiography of Malcolm X rn and obviously (and sadly) so much of what he wrote is still relevant. I especially found his critiques of the Million Man March similar to how commercialized and performative a large part of BLM has become (politicians wearing African cloth, BLM written on streets, company virtue signaling, etc.) They're different movements, but do share some similarities.
here's what he wrote about the Million Man March in Chapter 15, Icarus:
"The very fact that millions, black and white, believed in this monumental farce is another example of how much this country goes in for the surface glossing over, the escape ruse, surfaces, instead of dealing with its deep-rooted problems"
don't agree with all of his conclusions, but The Autobiography of Malcolm X is a timely read and still provides some great arguments and historical perspective

When I read that part all i could think about was when them cops kneeled
Mistaken reports of the police shooting a black man who actually shot himself after he murdered somebody prior. The f***ed up thing is the main witness immediately went on Facebook and spread the false information and then her and dozens of other people started looting Target. A couple buildings were burned Down and looted. Mayor installed a curfew called in the national guard immediately. Distrust in the police is slowly eroding the social order.
That's f***ed up on so many levels
yeah bro let's invalidate his terrible death by listing out all his wrongdoings.
f*** outta here bro
When white people commit crimes people don’t scramble to find past things they did wrong - no. They scramble to find all the good that the person did doesn’t matter if they murdered they’re whole family they used to like dogs years ago

'he was a troubled soul'
'if someone was there for him, he wouldn't have killed those kids'

did you watch the new Netflix doc American murder: the family next door? the way authorities spoke to the white male and how they treated him....it just baffled me. your post reminds me of that
be a shame if something were to happen to him
Now the cop aka killer is free, now what are the people gonna do
Like you guys want a civil war pt.2?
Like yo, we can go two ways about this...
One: tell it like it is, 4 cops surround a man while 1 kills him.
Second: background check and leak everything. G
Floyd and the murderer were colleagues before, Floyd has been arrested on numerous occasions, d*** user and a freemason member. The murderer was an actor and had debt in the 400k...
Any threads on the Philly shooting/protests?
To call what happened last night a protest is a joke
what happened ?
West philly got torn apart
A cop killed someone ? Why were they rioting ?
Cops shot a man who charged at them with a knife. Started out as heated protests but then turned into rioting and looting

Really don't see what else the cop could have done to be fair.
This situation is completely different to the ones we've seen in the last few months and what happened last night sadly will be used to downplay the disgusting actions of the cops in the other murders came before it - if you know what I mean
