Having nutritious food be as cheap as fast food and food that’s heavily processed would have a significant impact.
America’s culture of consumerism is also a big contributor, which includes portion sizes for instance.
Just
Dont
Eat

Yup. dollar menu’s cheap, nutritious s*** isnt
And a lot of people who try to say some weirdo "Skinny people get bullied too".
Stop that, youre on that White Lives Matter s***. Fat people cant even lose weight and live a normal life lmao. A fat person can lose weight and be left with excess skin.
Like would you rather be Nikocado Avocado when he's literally obese or when he was on his vegan diet.
Just

Some people have poor self-control, or look to food as something that brings comfort.
Also, again, portion sizes. Lot of it would go to waste if you just cut yourself off at a point.
Short men are oppressed as well.
Thats actually more important because short men cant become tall
But fat b****es be buying 45 bigmacs and criyng on twitter

Weight bias is actually a strong negative factor for a lot of people's health
she not wrong there’s for instance a lot of fat people who will go to a doctor with health problems and get told it’s cos of their weight but it turns out they have cancer or whatever terminal illness it may be.
speakin facts
speakin facts
people who disagree with me don’t understand the amount of discrimination that goes on in the medical industry
I feel her.....but nah.
Are fat people oppressed (in some very nuanced ways)? ...Sure
Should it be compared to the blatant and gross oppression of black people? Hell no
I understand that the food system in America is geared toward making people fat and yes that sucks, but there are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many stories of people losing weight and reaching a healthy level of weight for me to buy into it like that. You can change your weight, you can’t change your skin color. Obviously committing to losing weight is not the easiest thing in the world, but IT IS POSSIBLE.
Yall are giving individual solutions (eat less) to whats ultimately a societal problem with how food and physical activity is marketed and manufactured to people, especially people of low SES, from a very young age
why do people act like weight isn’t controllable
Idk what it is with this gen but they refuse to take accountability for anything. Everything is somebody else’s fault
