Agree with the rest of what you said, and by all means many people can make individual changes to combat those things, but a lot of people struggle with food more than others (differing levels of hunger hormones, nutrition education in schools, food culture). Ultimately if you have an issue that's affecting 70% of the population to some extent and more in people who are disadvantaged I think just telling people to eat less is lazy

As a social worker I’m tired of people not taking personal responsibility for anything nowadays. Yes cheap foods are bad for you, we’ve know this for awhile now.
