What in the f*** Q, out of all artists
Uh you don’t realize that’s a good thing?
Saweetie was big in the 90s (1993 to be exact)
Nah, she just needed sum change
Would you rather an album with Q Tip x LL Cool J or Q Tip x Roc Marciano?
Odd mindset
This idea that this combination is somehow invalid because you have a dream collab that you’d rather have conjured up lol
Especially denying the potential of an LL COOL J ?? Damn near disrespectful
Comparative perspectives will always leave u disappointed

My bad, didn’t know there were so many LL fans
He’s definitely not top 10 anything. Not even in his own borough
ur an actual clown

Some of us aint just get into hip hop in 2011 thinking liking roc is #realhiphop
Around The Way Girl still a blassic.

He’s had some catchy singles that I jammed to in elementary and middle school dances but that’s about it. Nobody I grew up with or neighborhood I lived in (N&W Philly / Trenton) was bumping LL Cool J. My favorite artists and producers over the years have never mentioned him as an influence as well.
Just because someone was raised in the early Hip Hop era doesn’t mean they’re automatically handed the Rap Mt. Rushmore. LL is a businessman first, actor second, MC fourth, 20+ years removed from the game.
damn starting off the album with that intro and topic lets you know what's going on off rip.
already classic Tip on these first two tracks and LL is floating

Also the fact that we disrespecting one of the OG fathers of this rap s*** who helped hip-hop become mainstream in the first place is completely foul.
And I'm saying that as someone who prefers his 90s s*** than 80s stuff.
Ross always sounds so good man Crack sounding great too after all these years too. legends man
Black Code Suite somehow sounds like golden age, we got it from here AND a whole new future thing era tip all in one
I better hear that yelling sample that tip always uses
"LOUDER!!! LOUDER!!! LOUDER!!!"
I better hear that yelling sample that tip always uses
I actually don’t think it’s on here 😭😭😭 which sucks because it’s such a fire late-career era tag/trademark
If you mean the one from we got it from here / combat by Danny brown etc
hold on the second verse of Black Code Suite nahh LL was FEELIN the bit lmao flowing like water
this outro TIP
