Sure, but nobody is really about these recent projects like they are with Nas/Black Thought/Killer Mike etc.

Had Lloyd gotten together with real producers, it would easily be in the AOTY/Grammy convos

Cartune Beatz might be the single worst producer in the underground, I liked his stuff on Jae Skeese’s album, but besides that all his stuff is so incredibly dull and dated sounding

It’s crazy how Hefner about to drop RAOTY 3 years in a row

I haven’t really heard him outside of banks but like perry said some of his stuff does sound a bit outdated in a bad way. I’m ready to see what he do on here

Cartune has some nice production, but he should put those piano beats (like the beat in the album trailer..) in a safe and never get them out again.

Sideline Saga by Jae Skeese has an amazing piano beat from him

But yeah those overdramatic sterile pianos he usually does are so bad
