anyone still download music locally and don't use anythin streamin service/online s*** in general? I've been buying music and s*** again and downloading achieves of old albums (especially encouraged since as soon as I started again I found my iphone can connect to my pc wirelessly to itrunes which is dope) and yeah its been very like good to do again of just like expanding my music collection and buying s*** off bandcamp/getting the secret soundcloud sleepers on my phone AND not have to worry if the wifi wants to be funny when I want to listen to my fav track

yeah this is valid i've been on a big anti streaming service hit for like the past two years but I understand the appeal of them

I guess I like having the agency of having the s*** I get like downloading something and having the mp3 to directly interact with and put where I want it on like my computer is a very nice feeling

personally for me its nice to actually have the s*** I enjoy listening + not everything i enjoy is on streaming as well but if streaming is perfect for you that s*** valid I just think having like some sort of full ownership of the media you are partaking in is od and amazing

if something is missing from streaming or gets removed you can always download it then. i personally dont see the point in downloading everything in advance, especially when you’re sacrificing a large amount of storage space to do it.
