his first album had some very good songs but it was bogged down by mediocrity and biting other rappers.

can’t even say i liked him but bruh had a terrible life so i def wanted him to reach success, which he did. at the same time it’s crazy to me how white (and white passing) rappers get so far with terrible music because white kids can identify with them. then they be the same kids that hate hip-hop culture outside of the aspects they are already appropriating.
