Apr 13, 2025krishna boundits because you can tell a lot by how professional the arrangement of the song is. like, there's a difference between 60 seconds of building up to something as an intro vs just having dead air for 60 seconds. you can tell shook ones pt 2 is made by someone who knows what they're doing despite the build up. if some random ass rapper just had dead air on an intro by comparison it doesnt matter if theyre then rapping like eminem, most people who dont know who the rapper is arent gonna wait 60 whole seconds of a random ass beat before listening more

I don’t listen to music that way and I’m sure there’s millions who don’t listen to music that way either so thinking just one way is the highway is just not how art works but salute to ya’ll for thinking that it’s only that way to massive success even from unknown. but like from my experiences with music, if I play some slow quality type music that takes a second to start like the Drake type beat makers be doing on YouTube, eventually someone asks who is this? cause the song is just good and patient listeners still exist if you give that listener a chance to experience your music LOL idk

KojimboLogic doesn’t feel like a rapper he feels like someone LARPing as a rapper
I met Logic in between the true story and everybody eras and I have to say he’s a very nice genuine guy. He definitely has a level of self awareness about him but simultaneously he definitely suffers a lot from overthinking stuff and wanting to be seen AS his influences rather than necessarily on his own merits. I think he comes off very sincere but in a way of “I really wish people would think I was ATCQ/Kanye/Kendrick/etc” instead of “I wish people would want to be Logic”.
